The Luvia by Jacob Shumaker is Inspired by Minimal Design

Jacob Shumaker designs the new Luvia jug, which is a water-purifying structure that is inspired by Scandinavian and Japanese minimal design. It is entirely made from glass materials and it allows users to see the water as it is being purified.

This contradicts the traditional purifiers, which are often made with an industrial look, the Luvia can also function as a decor piece as well. It has a compact catalytic carbon filter that suspends at the middle and is enclosed by a bamboo lid to keep it covered most of the time. The Luvia boasts a one-piece design and has a double -walled construction that crates two levels -- one for pouring the water in and the other for the water that gets purified.
