Boeing unveiled its lunar lander concept that it has submitted to NASA in hopes of being part of the 2024 Moon mission. Boeing's lunar lander concept features a single launch form NASA's Space Launch System, an integrated lander, and a descent stage. Boeing states its lunar lander concept offers a more streamlined mission process, which will help to keep the astronauts safe. Additionally, Boeing's mission concept will allow for greater flexibility, due to the fact that astronauts can complete the descent stage using either the Lunar Gateway or the Orion spacecraft.
A number of other organizations have also submitted proposals to NASA. Other notable submissions have come from Blue Origin, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.
