For Louis Vuitton's new 'Core Values' campaign, the company enlisted Annie Leibovitz to photograph three astronauts, Jim Lovell, Buzz Aldrin and Sally Ride.
The Louis Vuitton 'Core Values' campaign is in celebration of the 40th anniversary of man landing on the moon. The picture involves the three former moon visitors staring up at the celestial body.
The great shot by Leibovitz will be used for Vuitton campaigns in the near future.
Implications - It's actually about time that more high-end couture lines started adopting spacey themes in their wares. After all, Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes' fame and owner of the Billionaire Boys Club fashion line has been affiliating his style offerings with NASA and space for the longest time and the results are always fresh and fashionable.
