Advanced Beauty-Tech Partnerships

L'Oréal and Verily are Teaming Up to Advance Skin Health

L'Oréal and Verily are teaming up for a beauty partnership that's aimed at advancing skin health. With two programs, the partnering brands are on a mission to "better understand and characterize skin and hair aging mechanisms," and support the development of products and beauty-tech strategies.

The first effort comes in the form of a research collaboration to inform a comprehensive view of skin health that leverages L'Oréal's deep scientific knowledge of skin and Verily's comprehensive clinical science capabilities. Together, L'Oréal and Verily will be diving deep into the links between exposome, skin aging and the biology of the skin.

A second partnership pairs Verily's R&D Team and L'Oréal's Active Cosmetics Division for the purpose of developing artificial intelligence algorithms and sensors to support new services in both dermatology and skincare.
