Comic Strip-Inspired Editorials

The L’Officiel Turkey February 2014 editorial brings out the fun qualities in this year's crop of spring looks. Bright, colorful and full of graphic details, the designs fit into a '50s-inspired comic strip with ease. It doesn't hurt that models Carolina Ballesteros and Beata Grabowska are given a retro makeover in the form of big curls, red lips and cat eyes courtesy of hair stylist Ibrahim Zengin and makeup artist Gülüm Erzincan.

Shot by photographer Ahmet Unver, the L’Officiel Turkey February 2014 editorial showcases the spring collections of such labels as Celine, Alberta Ferretti and Prada. Styled by Ayca Elkap, the brunette beauties are put into vibrantly surreal situations ranging from elegant soirees to dramatic scenes. Although loud and busy, the scenes don't take away from the fashion.
