Full Circle Lithium Partners with US Fire Pump

— March 27, 2025 — Social Good
Full Circle Lithium and US Fire Pump are developing specialized emergency response vehicles that are designed specifically for lithium-ion battery fires. The autos are equipped with FCL’s proprietary FCL-X™ fire-extinguishing agent.

The collaboration has produced two solutions — the Lithium Response Vehicle (LRV) and Lithium Response Trailer (LRT), both engineered to rapidly suppress battery-related fires in commercial, industrial, and municipal settings. These systems were successfully tested in a live demonstration at a major automotive facility, where they extinguished an electric vehicle fire and two battery fires using FCL-X™ ProMAX, a high-performance variant of the agent. The LRV and LRT feature large-capacity booster tanks, independent pumping systems, and versatile discharge options.

With the use of electric vehicles growing, a collaboration that improves emergency response for lithium-ion battery fires is paramount.
