'Svitch,' an India-based electric bicycle manufacturer that creates products primarily for the local market, announced the 'LITE XE,' the company's fifth electric bicycle. Svitch entered the market in mid-2022 with with long-range e-bike, the 'CSR 762.' Since that time, the company has released long-range commuter bikes, off-road bikes, and foldable bikes targeted at different consumers.
The LITE XE is positioned as an affordable bike available in five colorways. The bike comes with a 250W Svitch-branded motor and a 10.4 Ah battery pack. The gear system comes from Shimano and is a seven-speeder, while the bike is also equipped with 20x3 fat-tires, five levels of pedal assistance, and LED lights for safety and road indicators.
The Svitch LITE XE retails for INR 74,999, or roughly $900 USD.
