Everything about the Lindsey Wixson for Vogue UK spread is a flashback of earlier decades. It's a mix of the 70s and 80s era with its color-blocked theme, neon accessories and plastic jewelry.

Even the photography has a retro vibe--one that I'm diggin'. Lensed by Alasdair McLellan, Wixson relaxes on the deck in the ‘Pool Party’ editorial for the April 2011 issue. Funky shades and electrifying colors makes for some fun-in-the-sun ensembles--a quirky and playful look. Vintage silhouettes show through the clothing in loose-fitting tanks and high-waisted shorts. The old school, throwback fashion pieces come from the collections of Jil Sanders, Dior, Miu Miu and others.
