Provençal Estate-Honoring Scents

Christian Dior Debuts the La Collection Privée with Dior Paradise

Christian Dior has expanded its La Collection Privée with the introduction of the Dior Paradise fragrance. This olfactory experience pays tribute to the couturier's cherished Provençal estate, Château de La Colle Noire, where he sought refuge and creative inspiration away from the demands of Parisian life.

Perfume Creative Director Francis Kurkdjian drew inspiration from the extensive orchard cultivated at the property, particularly the hundreds of almond trees that Dior nurtured. The personal connection was translated into a scent that captures the essence of the southern French landscape. The Dior Paradise fragrance features a radiant mandarin note that interplays with a bittersweet almond accord reminiscent of orgeat syrup. This core is balanced by a floral woody heart before settling into an enveloping base of tonka bean.
