Fashion designer Cynthia Rowley created four concepts for Lindsey Vonn Sochi helmet designs, including one of which that would have been worn by the American Olympic gold medalist at the 2014 Winter Games, had she not just recently announced that she will be unable to compete due to an injury. The idea came from Vonn as a way to engage her fans and incorporate them in her upcoming Olympic experience.
Four variations of Briko helmet designs were posted to Vonn’s Facebook page on December 26th and she asked her fans to pick out the winning look.
The designs include florals, snow leopards, silhouettes of gold leaves and pale watercolor-like feathers. The winning design was announced on January 3rd as Snow Leopard and it’s truly a shame that Vonn will not be able to wear it at Sochi 2014.
