Sun-Fueled Battery Packs

The Light Catcher is a Conceptual Solar-Powered AA and AAA Battery

Marathon Gameboy gaming sessions would have been a lot easier to afford if I had had the Light Catcher. Yung-Hsaing Chang, Ming-Shien Lin & Chang-Ting Lu are the designers behind the Light Catcher, a conceptual AA and AAA battery that can be recharged by the sun.

Solar-powered battery recharging kits are nothing new, but a pair of AA or AAA batteries that runs solely off of the sun is something to get excited about. The Light Catcher is also equipped with a 3.5mm jack, providing an additional power source.
