This luxury Leica camera celebrates the company's 100th birthday with a pre-production kit that costs almost $75,000. The Leica M 'Null Series' is a nod to the original M series -- a set which was said to have 100 copies. However, there were 25 other copies made and those are what makes up this delayed 'Null Series.'
With its classic solid stainless steel design, the camera is simple and elegant. It comes in a limited edition handmade leather Rimowa case and has a dark anodized finish.
The Leica camera is an extremely respected product among photographers -- both active professionals and more passive collectors. The 'Null Series' camera kit was created with the intention of remaining an iconic piece to be treasured and revered. With a price tag that rivals that of a luxury car, it's questionable whether this Leica camera will be owned by anyone other than its creators.
