Kongregate and Immutable X Announced a $40 Million Dev Fund

'Kongregate,' the online gaming website, has partnered up with 'Immutable X,' the blockchain technologies company, to launch a $40 million USD development fund. The fund will go toward developers looking to create blockchain-based games for the Kongregate platform. Kongregate is a decades-old gaming platform that has hosted numerous iconic titles such as 'Bloons' and 'Bubble Trouble.'

As part of this investment fund, the selected developers will gain access to several of Immutable X's services, such as its Ethereum transaction solution that allows for mass transactions at lower costs. Developers interested in this program are encouraged to reach out to Kongregate directly via email. Kongregate plans to relaunch its website as a web3-focused platform soon, so it is trying to amass a generous portfolio of web3-suited video games.
