Kanye West famously uses a teddy bear as his personal avatar, but the King Panpan project isn't going to let him hog all of the fun. Julius Santiago (the man behind these vectorized images) set out to create a cute bear illustration for every day of the year for 2010, and the results are these adorable pop culture creations, of which there are 365 of.
The King Panpan project was started by Santiago as a way to fuel creativity. He says that the difficult part wasn't the physical drawing of the bears, but ideating 365 ideas for this unique collection. I think it's safe to say he's accomplished his mission with flying colors.
Implications - Consumers enjoy products with cute aesthetics because they invoke lighthearted and enjoyable emotions. Corporations may consider modifying their products to have cute aesthetics in order to appeal to customers and garner more consumer business.
