One of the ways that Kiehl’s is achieving its mission is by introducing refillable products and packaging. Refillable products allow customers to reuse their bottles or jars by purchasing refills at a lower price and with less materials. This helps reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in landfills or oceans, and also saves resources and energy in production.

Some of the products that Kiehl’s offers in refillable formats include its Ultra Facial Cream, Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask, Creme de Corps, and Amino Acid Shampoo and Conditioner. Customers can bring their empty containers to participating Kiehl’s stores and receive a 10% discount on their refills. Alternatively, they can order online and receive their refills in recyclable pouches that use 80% less plastic than a standard bottle.
