Keychron Launched the 'Q9' Aluminum Keyboard with QMK Support

Keychron launched its latest customizable mechanical keyboard, the Keychron Q9. The Q9 is a small form-factor keyboard with a 40% layout, meaning it does not contain a Numpad, function keys, or the key panel above the arrow keys. The Q9 is intended for the space-conscious customer that performs simple tasks on their computer. As such, the keyboard simply includes the alphabetical keys and necessary accent keys such as caps lock, shift, tab, and alt.

The Keychron Q9 features a CNC aluminum casing that results in a heavy, sturdy feeling. Additionally, the keyboard is hot-swappable, meaning customers can easily adjust the keycap design or the types of switches included in the keyboard within seconds. On top of this, the Keychron Q9 is fully compatible with QMK and VIA applications, allowing customers to personalize their key functions and lighting patterns.
