Kevin Amato is model scout and creative director who uses social media platforms to find his muses. Caring much more about interesting people than he does about boring conventional beauty standards, Kevin Amato seeks out models who stand out in a crowd.

Although he still uses more traditional methods for scouting models as well, its the creative's use of social media platforms that allow him to gain a better understanding of an individual's expressive style and sense of uniqueness. In doing this, Kevin Amato continuously looks to combat the lack of diversity that too often comprises the fashion industry and as a result, the image that's presented to the public.

He explained his view of this by saying "My philosophy is that everything has a narrative and everyone should have a purpose in a fashion show." In addition to diversifying the media narrative, Kevin Amato's use of crowd-sourced models allows him to better communicate with the people he works with, making for more successful projects.
