In celebration of National Orca Day, Killer Creamery launched a keto-friendly ice cream that's all-black and helps to support the Raincoast Conservation Foundation and the research and protection of Southern Resident Killer Whales, which are dwindling in numbers. The all-natural black ice cream gets its unconventional hue from the addition of activated charcoal and also boasts a no-added-sugar formula.
All of the profits from the sales of the limited-edition black ice cream by Killer Creamery will help to support the Raincoast Conservation Foundation's work, which is of the utmost importance as there are less than 80 Southern Resident Killer Whales that remain in the wild.
The special Free Whaley flavor joins other unique keto-friendly frozen desserts from the brand, many of which boast whale-themed names like the Peanut Blubber and Chilla in Vanilla pints.
