On a cold winter day in Indiana, photographer Karen Abad was visiting friends, Cristina and Jon, both of whom had no desire to head outdoors. Instead, they decided to hole up inside and find a creative activity to kill the time. Inspiration struck when playing with their daughter, Olivia. Karen Abad ended up photographing the little one as her favorite television show characters.
From Hannah Horvath of 'Girls' to Rust Cohle of 'True Detective' and Walter White of 'Breaking Bad,' Karen Abad, with the help of the parents, created adorable sets and costumes for Olivia. Many of the characters are serious and Karen Abad writes, "She is the smiliest baby ever, so trust me when I say that it was extremely difficult to get her to not smile."
