NHS and Asda teamed up to create specially labeled Just Essentials Toothpaste tubes that bring awareness to mouth cancer symptoms to encourage early detection and consultations with their general practitioner or dentist.

The Fresh Mint-flavored Just Essentials by Asda toothpaste tube includes a side panel that highlights some of the warning signs of mouth cancer, such as lasting ulcers.

These early detection toothpaste tubes are launching at over 500 Asda shops in the UK, along with mouthwash that similarly warns users to seek help if a mouth ulcer lasts three weeks or more. With these awareness-raising oral care products, consumers can quickly access more detailed information from NHS about mouth and throat cancer.
