It's the youth who stand to gain or lose the most when it comes to the changing natural environment, and items like the 'Juice in a Box' will help to teach them eco-friendly behaviors.
The reusable plastic cartons were launched at the International Home & Housewares Show and are the result of a collaboration between designer Leo Corrales and Precidio Design Inc. The creators were inspired by the Tetra Brik, but have adapted the idea to suit the lifestyle of children as an integral inclusion in their lunch boxes.
The juice box concept has been explored using translucent plastic or opaque Tritan copolyester, illustrated with cartoons like baby Spiderman. The iconic form of the wax and paper packages has been recreated in the 'Juice in a Box,' with a lid and a straw built in so that beverages can be brought in from home.
