With podcasts, iPods and MP3s, very few people listen to the radio unless they are brushing their teeth or stuck in traffic, but the Josiah DAB Radio will change the way one of the original music players are used for this generation.
Studio Yayo and Kwame Corp have collaborated to create the Josiah DAB Radio, which is a Bluetooth-activated speaker that automatically connects with the users smartphone. Upon placing the mobile device on top of the speaker, the handcrafted porcelain radio automatically connects to the channel or music the phone was playing. Studio Yayo's design focuses on the basic and essential functions of one of the original music players while keeping the exterior design to a minimum, making the updated player aesthetically fit for any kitchen, bookshelf or room in general.
