Looking at Joanna Bury's latest collections of jewelry, you wouldn't think the artist just only recently graduated from university. Filled with tribal-inspired designs that emit an almost transcendent quality, the collections include chokers, bangles, cuffs and earrings.
Named 'Ethereal' and 'Irezumi,' the pieces draw inspiration from Asian cultures as well as contemporary and tribal designs. The translucent quality of the collection is meant to mirror "the concept behind removable tattoos that can be worn to adorn and to make a statement," but which are ultimately temporary, according to the Unusual Jewellery website. My favorite item from Joanna Bury is the Glass Effect Cuff; the shadows paired with the intricate tribal design create a lovely dreamy effect.
