The Jeremy Lin action figure commemorates the player’s rise to fame by transforming the basketball icon into an 80s G.I. Joe-inspired figurine. The action figure is created by Seattle-based sculptor Mike Leavitt and comes complete with a bamboo base board, moveable parts and interchangeable accessories such as a basketball flail. Made from "polymer clay, elastic cord, styrofoam and steel armatures," the collectible displays a hand-painted Taiwanese flag and "Lin Seventeen" on the back.
What better way to have your efforts rewarded than being immortalized through an action hero figurine? Who would have thought that owning an action figure would make you a sports fan? The Jeremy Lin action hero is the latest addition to Leavitt’s ‘Art Army’ series and offers sports collectors something other than a jersey to hunt after.
