Japan is currently facing a problem with low birth rate. An all time record of 39.7% of Japanese that ages 16-49 have not had a sex for 30 days. The figures came from Japan Family Planning Association. 2005 set a record low of of 1.26 births in an average woman lifetime. This problem cause an alarm since it might affect tax revenue and labor workforce in a long time.
The association director Dr. Kunio Kitamura added that "My research shows that if you don't have sex for a month, you probably won't for a year." He blames this problem primarily because of stress because of busy lifestyle and the internet. Whenever the japanese are free, instead having a social life and meet potential partners they go online and their build a community with no physical connection.
