The Jamhub Tracker MT16 Allows Musicians to Record Live Performances

American company JamHub is now shipping the Tracker MT16, a WiFi-enabled multi-track recorder for musicians. This easy-to-use device allows musicians to capture up to 16 channels of sound simultaneously.
The channels capture CD-quality, post-trim recordings of live performances straight from the mixing desk; WiFi capability means the device can wirelessly upload the files to cloud storage where it can be accessed for post-production. Recording can also be carried out via a USB device.
The Tracker MT16 is equipped with a headphone jack which can be used to listen to individual recorded tracks. Live and real-time sound monitoring will also be made available via accompanying software. JamHub is also developing an iOS control app that will allow users to start and stop recordings from an iPhone or iPad over WiFi.
