The Ishida QX-800 tray sealer has been launched by Ishida Europe for food packaging operations as a way to improve throughput, overall efficiency and even reduce energy consumption.
The system is engineered with fast-paced production lines in mind and offers support for seal only, gas flushing, stretch film and skinpack packaging requirements. The system can handle up to 25 seal-only cycles or up to 17 Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) cycles per minute. The setup also accommodates a wide range of tray materials including plastic, aluminum, board and fiber to support the shifting landscape within the packaging category.
Product Manager Tara O'Connor commented on the Ishida QX-800 tray sealer saying, "We have four all-important criteria when developing new packaging machinery for the food industry.
