The Apple iPod experienced a number of design changes and upgrades before being discontinued by the brand in 2014, so the iPod Classic 2021 concept has been designed to identify what could be observed if the device were still around today.
Designed by Andrea Copellino, the iPod is imagined with a design that calls to mind the latest-generation iPhones and boasts a crisp display that's accented by the classic Apple click wheel below. The MP3 player is imagined as a port-free device that follows on the brand's shift away from the 3.5mm headphone jack as it helps to usher in the discontinuation of physical ports.
The iPod Classic 2021 concept is designed in two finishes that are highly polished with a matte finish on the front to call to mind the original devices.
