Vegetable Vitality Ads

The International Vegetarian Union Advertising Campaign

— November 13, 2009 — Marketing
You are what you eat--or so the saying goes. These International Vegetarian Union ads take this idea literally by using vegetables to recreate a man and woman’s internal organs.  The ads were created by JWT Kuwait and feature the tag line, “Vegetables are all your body needs.”

The vegetarian-friendly International Vegetarian Union ads show the anatomy model of a woman to be made-up of cauliflower, leek, tomato, eggplant, zucchini, ginger and a pear (which I’m pretty sure isn’t a vegetable). The anatomy model of a man features a few of the same vegetables plus an apple, carrots and celery.
