Social Media-Inspired Cameras

The Instagram Camera Will Add a Hipster Touch to Any Night Out

There are those who love and hate the social media site, but the new Instagram Camera looks to bring the photo filtering app into the real world. Being dubbed the Socialmatic model by photography industry leader Polaroid, the camera is designed to look and act just like the infamous app that has skyrocketed into the limelight within the past year or two.

It's interesting to see how a previously underground form of photography has evolved to be such a mainstay within our culture that we want to bring it into the real world. Had someone mentioned the Instagram Camera a year ago or so, I would've likely asked why. However, the consistent rise in those who use the socializing app and a purchase by the head honchos over at Facebook makes the Instagram Camera quite suited.
