Founded by biomedical engineer Jennifer Grant, the brand is said to "leverage cannabis in a novel (if not entirely new) way." empyri's main ingredient is upcycled cannabis root extract. Used by practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it ensures various health benefits, pertaining to decrease of inflammation, as well as an increase of blood circulation and digestion.

empyri currently offers three innovative cannabis skincare products. The first one is the Cannabis Sativa Oil Cleanser, the second is the Cannabis Sativa Hydrating Toner and Vitamin C, and the third one is the Cannabis Sativa Daily Moisturizer. All three options boast clean formulas and ethical ingredient sourcing as the cannabis roots are upcycled from the marijuana and hemp production waste stream.
