The race towards the world's fastest smartphone charging capabilities continues with the Infinix Concept Phone 2021 that was shown off by the brand at the Mobile World Congress. The prototype smartphone shows off the brand's charging technology, which is rated at 160W to power the device from zero to 100% in just 10-minutes flat. The handset itself is outfitted with a 4,000mAh battery and identifies what we could see being incorporated into future devices as faster charging technology becomes essential for many consumers.
The Infinix Concept Phone 2021 highlights a 6.6-inch curved AMOLED display along with a new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered camera, but is mostly designed to help highlight this new kind of charging speed. While the device will not be made available for purchase, the charging technology could be showing up in future devices.
