Altitude-Optimized Coffees

WestJet and Tim Hortons Pair Flight Roast with Loyalty Perks

Tim Hortons is introducing altitude-optimized coffees with Flight Roast, a custom blend created exclusively for WestJet passengers and designed to taste its best at 35,000 feet. Launching November 30, the 100% Premium Arabica coffee is roasted to a full medium profile with notes of toasted nuts, cocoa and red fruit. Tim Hortons coffee and tea will be available on WestJet flights that currently provide inflight refreshments, extending the coffee brand into the travel experience.

The partnership also connects product development with customer loyalty. Beginning in 2027, members who link their Tims Rewards and WestJet Rewards accounts will be able to earn WestJet points on eligible Tim Hortons purchases and access exclusive offers. This gives both brands opportunities to encourage cross-platform engagement, expand customer touchpoints and turn routine coffee purchases into travel-related rewards.
