For those who are looking for an art and nature-based holiday experience, 'The Morton Arboretum’s Illumination: Tree Lights' is now open. According to the website, it is the "ninth annual Illumination: Tree Lights at The Morton Arboretum."
The light, sound, and color walking experience is spread across 50 acres of trees, creating a spectacular one-of-a-kind winter scene. When people want to take a break from walking along the one-mile exhibit, they can stop by the concession tents placed along the way to grab a snack or beverage, hang out by the fire, and roast marshmallows for s’mores.
The Illumination: Tree Lights is open from November 20, 2021 – January 8, 2022, and is recommended to visit when it is dark. Tickets vary in price and can be purchased on the website.
