Flat-Pack Origami Furniture

The IGA Chair Comes in a Box and is Designed to Look Like a Paper Swan

The IGA Chair is a flat-pack chair designed to look like an origami swan. This unique combination of portability and artistic design was dreamed up by Polish designer Damian Kozlik.

The IGA Chair sure is pretty to look at, but it looks even better when disassembled. The entire chair comes packed in a purple box and must be self-assembled. The package is designed much like the furniture sold at IKEA, with a set of fasteners and screws coming in a small box along with the chair itself. The end result is an artistic and eye-catching chair that looks almost too good to have come in a box.

Unlike most awesome furniture designs, the IGA Chair is not doomed to be merely a conceptual design forever. According to Kizlik, the chair is in the developmental stage and will hit the open market soon.
