Hybrid Slide Sandal Styles

Luar and Kenner Debut Legend Pro Variants

Luar founder and creative director Raul Lopez partnered with Brazilian footwear brand Kenner to create two versions of the Legend Pro sandal, blending slide-like styling with Kenner’s toe-post heritage. Both carry Luar’s embossed logo on the strap and a gold Kenner “K” emblem. The designs appeared in Luar’s spring 2027 Christopher Street Columbus runway show.

One version pairs a structured upper with a redesigned Legend Pro footbed to create a slide-toe-post hybrid, while the other retains the toe-post construction with a wider strap and reworked footbed. Both come in vanilla, beige, black and royal blue, matching Luar’s seasonal palette.

For consumers, the sandals translate a Brazilian streetwear staple into a runway-led fashion product. The collaboration reflects growing interest in regional footwear icons and cross-cultural design partnerships. For Kenner, it expands visibility, while Luar enters a new category through a sandal brand. No release date is set, though Lopez indicated that additional versions may follow.
