Shell is an appropriately named hybrid smartwatch, currently the subject of an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, that is designed to make it easier than ever for consumers to enjoy the wearable convenience of a smartwatch with the full functionality of a camera-fitted smartphone.

When worn like a watch, the Shell is worn on the wrist much like any other watch. But when a user needs to use it as a fully fledged phone, all they have to do is extend its two spring-fitted flanks to expose the antenna and communications apparatus. One of the wings has a rotating camera embedded into it.
