The Huawei Mate 80 series smartphones have been announced by the brand as its latest lineup of mobile devices that are engineered with advanced connectivity and photography in mind. The smartphone range includes the Huawei Mate 80 and the Mate 80 Pro, which are each outfit with 5,750mAh batteries that will offer charging support for up to 100W wired connections and up to 80W wireless. The smartphones are reported to have the brightest screens ever on a handset with up to 8,000 nits.

The Huawei Mate 80 series smartphones set themselves apart from one another with their sculpted camera systems on the rear. The Mate 80 has a 50MP wide-angle lens along with a 40MP ultrawide lens and a 12MP zoom lens, while the Mate 80 Pro has the same wide-angle and ultra-wide lenses with a 48MP telephoto lens.
