Packaging for the HP Chromebook 11 was recently simplified by the Liquid Agency in California, giving the product a look that resembles the branding of Apple. As the computer is branded "ultra-minimalist and super affordable device," reducing visual clutter was essential to the rebranding of the HP Chromebook.
The laptops are boxed in crisp white packaging, which is wrapped with a colorful sleeve, showing its ties to Google. As well as being quite aesthetically pleasing, the box is made to be durable and withstand whatever kinds of curves are thrown at it during the shipping process. The box takes inspiration from compostable take out boxes and was designed to create minimal waste and have a small footprint, showing that less really can do more in terms of design.
