The HoverAir Versa combines a three-axis handheld gimbal camera with a detachable drone carrier that transitions from handheld recording to autonomous flight within seconds. The camera features a built-in display, joystick controls and an optical stabilization system, while a new image processor is expected to improve dynamic range and low-light performance. AI framing is also integrated to help keep subjects centered during recording without requiring manual adjustments.
To switch modes, the camera slides onto the drone module before the folding arms are unfolded for takeoff directly from the user's palm. The aircraft supports AI-powered subject tracking alongside more than 10 automated flight modes intended for creating social media content without a traditional controller or piloting experience.
