Hotel Shilla is embarking on a comprehensive sustainability initiative, aiming to transform all three of its hotel brands—Shilla Hotel, Shilla Monogram, and Shilla Stay—into eco-friendly properties. Under this program, the company will implement a set of management standards covering 13 key areas, including energy conservation, enhanced recycling practices, and the adoption of environmentally friendly products across its operations.
The sustainability drive begins this year with Seoul Shilla Hotel and Jeju Shilla Hotel, both of which are set to achieve Green Key certification, an internationally recognized eco-label for hotels. Hotel Shilla’s long-term goal is to extend this achievement across all 20 of its properties, both domestically and internationally, establishing a consistent standard of environmental responsibility and sustainable hospitality throughout the brand.
