Disney Imagineer Lanny Smoot unveils the HoloTile platform, which is a unique omnidirectional floor that functions similarly to a treadmill. It allows users to walk in pretty much any direction in the same spot and keeps them securely centered with an effortless experience.

This way, users can walk through immersive landscapes within a single spot. The HoloTile is comprised of smaller circular structures that move and rotate in response to the walker's steps. This way, it can cater to any direction and movement for a versatile experience. Additionally, it can also adapt to more tat one person on the same platform -- each one walking in their own direction without any interference with one another.
