This Sit-Down Chain is Launching a New Restaurant Called 'Holler & Dash'

Tennessee-based restaurant chain Cracker Barrel recently announced plans to open a new fast casual restaurant called 'Holler & Dash.' In recent years, fast casual chains such as Chipotle and Panera Bread have proven extremely popular among millennials. Now it seems that sit-down restaurants such as Cracker Barrel are looking to tap into this market with causal outlets of their own.

Cracker Barrel's new restaurant will be called Holler & Dash and the first location will open in Homewood, Alabama. This city is particularly important as it is located in the Birmingham metro area in a pedestrian-friendly spot. Like other high-end fast casual chains, the new eatery will offer counter service, as well as take-out. However, the menu will more closely resemble Cracker Barrel's Southern offering such as biscuit sandwiches and other dishes designed to satisfy sweet and savory cravings.
