The Hisense A9 smartphone is the latest model from the brand that doesn't feature an OLED or LCD display in favor of a far more efficient alternative: E-Ink technology. The smartphone features a 6.1-inch E-Ink display with 300 pixels per inch, which allows for a paper-like viewing experience that can be easily seen in direct sunlight. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and features 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage space.
The Hisense A9 smartphone is available now for preorder ahead of a launch in China for 1,799 CNY and supports 4G LTE as well as dual-band WiFi. The device measures in at 183-grams with a two-camera system, side mounted fingerprint reader and a 4,000mAh battery.
