The Upgraded Ford Focus RS Features Improved Horsepower and Torque

The Ford Focus RS was already a celebrated high-performance car, but the intervention of British tuning house Mountune now means that this particular vehicle has hit next-level performance, out-performing such venerable and respected cars such as the base version of the Porsche 911.

The factory version of the vehicle comes equipped with the ability to produce 350 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque, allowing it to spring along from zero to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. There figures are already impressive, but Mountine's upgrades mean that the vehicle now benefits from a considerably boosted 375 horsepower and 510 Nm of torque, enabling it to hit the 100 km/h mark in only 4.5 seconds.

This high-performance car attests to the utility of aftermarket tuning houses, as their ability to take impressive cars and turn them into super-vehicles is inspiring and creates a new market altogether.
