Herbal Essences Revamps 11 of its Shampoo and Conditioner Products

Herbal Essences is launching a formula overhaul for 11 shampoo and conditioner products, adding the new aloe and camellia oil to help nourish and hydrate hair. The added oil inclusion helps preserve the antioxidant properties of the products, while the core of its formula contains other beneficial and cleansing ingredients.

"After learning so many consumers feel they have to compromise between dry or overly saturated hair that feels heavy, we sought to find ingredients that would solve for nourishment without the weigh-down,” said Rob Reiss, P&G NA hair care vice president.

Notably, the new Herbal Essences packaging has 25% less plastic than previous versions. This aligns with the brand's sustainability commitments and helps decrease its carbon footprint overall.
