Eco-friendly devices that use solar energy are becoming more and more popular in societies, and an example of this is the new solar alarm clock called 'Hello! Sunshine!' This new concept saves electricity and is also multifunctional, as it's both a lamp and a clock.

Designed by Yung-Hsun Chen, this clever timepiece consists of a thin solar panel that is attachable to glass windows using suction. During the day, it feeds on solar energy to charge, and at night it can be removed to become a minimalist nightlight and night table clock. This square-shaped piece is perfect to make anyone wake up.

Hello! Sunshine! is great because it avoids the cost of batteries and the risk of electricity going off and resetting the clock's alarm memory.
