Hello Kitty Ninja Turtles Put an Unlikely Twist on a Classic

If you grew up watching 'Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles' as a kid, you might not be thrilled at the idea of Hello Kitty Ninja Turtles.

A toy company in Japan decided to take two childhood classics and mash them up to create one figurine. However, instead of combining ideas of the same genre such as a hybrid between two superheroes, the brand chose to pair two very unlikely sources: Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles and Hello Kitty.

These toys are designed to look like the ninja turtles in the sense they are green, have a shell, a mask and armor; however they are actually cats that resemble Hello Kitty with cute bows on their ears.

The Hello Kitty Ninja Turtles may get mixed reviews, but they're a great gift for someone who loves all the characters involved.
