Califia Farms Launches New Vegan-Friendly 'Heavy Whip'

Alternative dairy brand Califia Farms has announced the launch of its newest plant-based whipping cream called 'Heavy Whip.' According to the company, the alternative dairy product is nearly identical in taste and texture to traditional dairy-based whipping cream.

'Heavy Whip,' which has a coconut oil basis and is unflavored and unsweetened, was formulated to perform like dairy-heavy whipping cream. For example, much like traditional whipping cream, Califia Farms Heavy Whip can be paired with soups, creamy desserts, salad dressings, and more.

“At Califia, we're passionate about celebrating the irresistible goodness of plants, and we saw an opportunity to create a plant-based swap for dairy-heavy whipping cream without compromising on taste and functionality,” said Suzanne Ginestro, the company’s chief marketing officer.
