Heath Ledger made a commitment to an old friend that he would invest in his new restaurant. When Ledger died, it had to put some doubt in the owner's mind, but Ledger's father said he knew how much the project meant to his son. He has now put forward the moolah to finish up â€œFive Leaves,â€ the tentative name of the eatery.
Formerly a hair salon, the unusual triangular building in New York was on the market for $2.6 million. The bistro reportedly is designed along the line of a transport ferry and English butcher shop.
